Blocking occurs when a model or feature prevents an attack vector being drawn to a target.
A blocking model is a model the same size or larger than a target preventing an attack vector being drawn to the target. Small models do not prevent vectors for other purposes, such as weapon effects that continue to maximum range. For the purposes of blocking models are considered to take up the entirety of the spaces that they stand in, potentially blocking a vector passing through any posrtion of the square.
When an attack vector to a model with the Inversion status effect is drawn, blocking models do not block the attack vector.
A blocking feature is a wall, closed door, large based model or marked terrain feature, which terminates vectors and attack vectors .
