A status effect is a lasting effect on a model. Many status effects require a successful status check to remove them from a model. A model may have more than one effect but, unless stated, a model cannot have multiples of one effect.

BleedingEdit

A model with Bleeding loses one wound automatically at the beginning of its activation. Bleeding is removed through a successful status check. Bleeding is also removed if all the models wounds are healed, through another model's abilities or a strategic point, for example.

BurningEdit

A model with Burning loses two wounds automatically at the beginning of its activation. Burning is removed through a successful status check.

CorrosionEdit

A model with Corrosion loses three wounds automatically at the beginning of its activation. Corrosion is removed through a successful status check. Models killed by corrosion effects do not leave a corpse token.

CrushEdit

A model in a Crush area of effect is affected by Crush. Crush is removed when the area of effect is removed or the model moves out of the area of effect. At the beginning of its activation a model with crush is knocked Prone and loses one wound. A model affected may only move at half their mobility. A model with crush may not use a reflex ability.

InfectionEdit

InversionEdit

A model in an Inversion area of effect is affected by Inversion. Inversion is removed when the area of effect is removed. A model with inversion may not move and cannot use reflex abilities or make a close combat attack.

A model with Inversion does not gain a modifier from adjacent cover and blocking models do not block attack vectors to a model with inversion.

A target with Inversion is harder to hit with ranged attacks and more vulnerable to close combat attacks

  • For close combat against a model with inversion: [MOD] [ATT] +1d6
  • For Ranged attacks against a model with inversion: [MOD] [DEF] 3

SingularityEdit

A model in a Singularity area of effect is affected by Singularity. A model with Singularity loses four wounds automatically at the beginning of its activation and at the end its activation. Singularity is removed when the area of effect is removed or the model leaves the area of effect.

A model with Singularity may only move at half its mobility (rounded down) and cannot use reflex abilities.

ProneEdit

A model with Prone may not move, unless moved by an attacker ability, or make close combat attacks. The model may also not use movement or close combat based reflex actions. Prone is removed when the model spends a single move action to stand up. A status check is not required.

A target with Prone is harder to hit with ranged attacks and more vulnerable to close combat attacks

  • For close combat against a model with inversion: [MOD] [ATT] +1d6
  • For Ranged attacks against a model with inversion: [MOD] [DEF] 3

RadEdit

A model with Rad cannot use or generate Nano counters.
